The King wants to know what his subjects think. Disguised as a wanderer, he hears the tales of three sisters. He is so captivated by the ladies’ earnestness that he decides to grant their wishes….  But that’s not the end of the tale. It turns out that one person’s happiness can cause envy in another….
The director uses this tale of betrayal, hatred, and a quest for lost happiness to unleash a theatre of miracles and wonders. Can dancing water, a performing tree, and the mysterious Greenbird help avert an evil destiny? The show includes commedia dell’arte, Sicilian marionettes, magic tricks, humour, and also philosophical reflection. Plus live music!

The presentation is a coproduction of Teatr Lalka and the New Epiphanies Festival.
