The Wonderful Journey - Teatr Lalka

The Wonderful Journey is based on the novel The Wonderful Adventures of Nils by Nobel Prize-winning Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf, one of the leading authors of literature for children.  The Polish premiere was produced by the eminent Belarusian Alexei Leliavsky and Alexander Vahramieyev. The story of Nils, a naughty boy changed into a dwarf, then sentenced to travel until he improves, is presented by both puppets and live actors, with live music. Birds travel along with Nils on a journey filled with thrills.

This production presented in many Polish theatres beside Teatr Lalka as part of the program TEATR POLSKA (THEATRE POLAND) financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Organizer: The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.
