We invite viewers to a series of seven of the most beautiful Warsaw legends, presented on an intimate scale in various configurations. These familiar, local tales are written in beautiful Polish.                                                           ***
Secret passageways, blind alleys, steep steps, cavernous cellars: these are the hidden nooks and crannies of the city curious children follow until they reach the dungeon on Krzywe Koło. The fear is unforgettable, but not strong enough to overcome the desire to find the treasure guarded by the Basilisk. But Malcom pays a heavy price for his curiosity. He places all his hope for rescue in a learned wizard named Hermenegildus….

                                                           ***
A colourful tale of Turkish captivity, a brave warrior from Mazuria, a faithful horse, and the miraculous rescue of a cross, brought back from a faraway country until it ultimately finds a home in a church in the Old Town of Warsaw. Truth and legend interweave to form a poetic and astounding story of a place.
